Meet Steve
Steve Eagon is HearingPlanet’s V.P. of Sales and Audiology. Originally from northeast Ohio, Steve has been an Audiologist for approximately 20 years. After completing his graduate degree in Audiology from Ohio University, he spent the next eleven years practicing in a variety of clinical settings including ENT medical offices and private practice hearing aid sales. Early in Steve’s career he also supervised graduate students from the Ohio State University and Ohio University.
When Steve moved to Nashville, TN in 1999, he worked briefly in an Audiology clinical setting before joining HearingPlanet as one of the original employees. While working at HearingPlanet, Steve has worked with thousands of patients, witnessed profound change in the hearing aid industry and its products, and continues to enjoy a unique industry perspective very few Audiologists experience. He is presently working with the American Academy of Audiology on a hearing aid delivery task force and is still active speaking with and educating consumers on a daily basis regarding hearing loss and hearing aids.
Personally, Steve lives with his wife and two school-aged children in the Nashville area. He enjoys playing guitar, bicycling, and many other outdoor activities when free time allows.
